Let's see...the last update was saturday in SLC. Time to Recap.
Sunday: We had some complications with the Northern California shows, so we headed south to LA. Smooth trip. Ate at Del Taco for the first time in months. :) Had a late load in at the Cobalt Cafe, listened to Pompeii, played our set. Settled in for the night.
Monday: This was a fun day for me because I hadn't ever been to LA. We briefly met up with Dave Trumfio (the producer of Reinventing the Heartbeat), drove along Sunset, and dropped by Amoeba. That night we played at The Scene Bar in Glendale and Andrew McMahon dropped in for a short while. I was a little blown away and never mustered the courage to speak to him. :P After the show, we grabbed some In N Out and Josh learned that he should never startle Jamison with a full drink in his hand...
Tuesday: We drove to the show in Victorville and found out it was cancelled. We were all pretty bummed, but we were able to start heading to Arizona a little early. We got to Dai's house around 2 in the morning and got some solid sleep for the first time in awhile. We have time to relax today, but we're really looking forward to the upcoming shows. Hope to see some of you there.
